Fireheart is a super-fresh, small-batch British coffee brand that’s as big on ethics as it is on character. Available via online subscription, carefully selected beans are roasted and posted to order. The big challenge was always going to be how to stand out in a market saturated with big players and local small-batch roasters alike. Fireheart offers the artisanal approach but with a super-easy, user-friendly subscription model that means it offers the best of both worlds. It’s beans are roasted and posted to order so they couldn’t be fresher, so the tag line Living Coffee perfectly encapsulates what they do and how they act.

The bold, bright and disruptive identity we created for them deliberately breaks away from the usual visual cues of coffee packaging, delivering vibrant energy and creating crucial taste cues when enticing online sales is such an important part of the business plan. The F logo, made up of three simple geometric shapes, nods to the three founders, but more than this, it provides the inspiration and building blocks for a really dynamic look and feel across all packaging and marketing. The shapes are moveable objects that add character, not to mention flexibility and fluidity to the brand and have proven to be a great way to build bonds with buyers who resonate with the graphics almost as much as with their delicious morning brew. (Although we understand that nothing can compare to that first coffee of the day). 

Working with the team at Buddy to build our brand from scratch has been fantastic.
